Identichips are a safe and simple means to ensure your pet can be identified easily and reunited with you as soon as possible.
A microchip the size of a grain of rice is inserted under the skin over the neck.
Each chip carries a unique numeric code, which stays with your pet throughout its life.
The number is simply obtained by passing a scanner over the chip.
If your pet does get lost all Veterinary Surgeries, Dog Wardens, RSPCA Inspectors and Wood Green Animal Shelters will use a scanner to see if they can find a chip.
If your pet does have a chip the finder just has to make one phone call to reunite it with you.
