Repeat prescriptions

• Under the current Medicines Act virtually all veterinary medicines can only be dispensed by a veterinary surgeon for an animal under his or her care.
• We will be happy to examine your pet to ensure repeat prescriptions are safe to dispense and this usually means it needs seeing every six months.
• Some conditions will require more frequent examinations than others.
• Please try to give at least 48 hours notice when requesting repeat prescriptions.
• Flea and worm medicines can be dispensed as long as we have seen your pet within the last 12 months.
