Pet Gallery
In October 2007 we held a photographic competition, in association with the Biggleswade Chronicle, to try and capture the spirit and fun of owning a pet.
There were 2 categories, ‘16 & Under’ and ‘Adult’. We received a staggering total of 257 photographs, with a variety of pets shown hurtling around at 90mph, playing, looking cute or just flaked out on a cushion - all showing the place pet in your household.

The standard was very high, which made judging the entries extraordinarily difficult, but Pam Rhodes came to the rescue, choosing our winners in each category and also the runners up. So, congratulations to the winners, Kylie Huddlestone and Chloe Reed, who will both receive an iPod.

We also pledged to make a donation to charity for each photograph entered, a grand total of £257. Pam Rhodes was offered the cheque for a charity of her choice and said “I’ll forward the cheque to an organisation ‘Feline Rescue’ who work very hard looking after abandoned cats in Bedfordshire”.
